Christ willed to be born poor. He chose for Himself disciples who were poor. He made Himself the servant of the poor and shared their poverty. Christ dignified the poor in Matthew 25:40, "whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for Me." Consider how the Lord may be calling you to love of neighbor - especially the poor and suffering.
